Job summary

Mosaic is seeking Direct Support Professionals to join our team in Lincoln, NE. This full-time day position focuses on guiding people served to learn daily living skills, promote independence, and participate in meaningful life activities.

You’ll work with a team dedicated to person-centered care, safety, and emotional support, including basic housekeeping, meal prep, and personal care tasks as needed. Training is provided to all hires.

Qualifications

• Desire to make a positive difference in people’s lives; no experience or education required, training provided.
• Must be at least 19 years of age.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license where applicable.
• Physical requirements include standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with reliable timeliness.

Responsibilities

• Assist people served in developing daily living skills and activities for independence.
• Support goal identification and achievement for a better quality of life.
• Ensure safety, comfort, nutrition and personal care needs are met.
• Provide emotional support and assist with housekeeping, meals, and laundry.
