Mosaic is seeking Direct Support Professionals to join a team that puts people first and helps individuals learn daily living skills for greater independence.

As a DSP, you will support people served with guidance on daily activities, goals, safety, and personal care while fostering an inclusive, encouraging environment. Training is provided and a compassionate, reliable communicator is valued.

Qualifications

• Desire to make a positive difference in peoples lives. No experience needed; thorough training provided.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Valid U.S. drivers license required, where applicable.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Work requires frequent physical activity including standing, walking, and bending with occasional sitting, kneeling, climbing, stooping, crouching, squatting and balancing.
• Constant reaching between knee and shoulder level and frequent reaching below knee level and overhead.
• Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds, frequent push/pull up to 40 pounds, and ability to transfer 50 pounds safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development of important daily living skills and life activities by creating an environment for learning, growth and discovery.
• Help people identify and achieve goals to live their best life possible.
• Monitor comfort and safety while meeting medical, nutritional and personal care needs.
• Provide emotional support and assist with housekeeping, meal prep and laundry.
