Mosaic is seeking Direct Support Professionals in Hastings to assist individuals as they learn daily living skills and pursue independent living. This full-time role may involve weekend work and day shifts.

Qualifications

Desire to make a positive difference in people's lives. No experience or educational requirements needed. We provide thorough training.
Must be at least 19 years of age.
Valid U.S. driver’s license required, where applicable.
Work requires frequent physical activity including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, stooping, crouching, squatting and balancing.
Lifting up to 25 pounds, push/pull up to 40 pounds, and ability to transfer 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Assist with development of daily living skills and activities, creating an environment where people can learn and grow.
Help people identify and achieve their goals to live their best life possible.
Monitor comfort and safety while meeting medical, nutritional and personal care needs.
Provide emotional support while assisting with housekeeping, meal prep and laundry.
