Job Title: Direct Support Professional, Home and Community – Part-Time

Location: Jefferson Hills, PA (Allegheny County) – Location determined based on business needs and your residence.

Employment Type: Part-Time, Hourly

Pay Rate: $16.08/hour

Sign-On Bonus: Up to $2,000

Position Summary

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Home and Community provides personalized support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role includes helping with daily tasks, community engagement, transportation, and recreational activities. Compassion, dependability, and strong interpersonal skills are key to success.

Key Responsibilities

• Support individuals in achieving lives of personal significance
• Assist with personal care tasks (e.g., bathing, food prep, laundry)
• Administer and document medications
• Promote independence through daily living and money management skills
• Transport and accompany individuals to community events and appointments
• Communicate and document observations, concerns, and successes
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• No prior experience required – paid training provided
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Must meet PA Act 33/34 and FBI clearance requirements
• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and properly insured personal vehicle required
• Ability to perform one-person physical transfers essential
