Skills of Central PA, Inc. is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to work in our residential group homes, supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

You will implement person-centered plans, organize activities, provide transportation, and help with daily living to foster independence and community involvement. Full-time roles require weekend and holiday rotations; CNA/NADSP credentials may yield higher pay.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license (must be maintained along with a good driving record).
• Eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Use person-centered thinking to understand the wants and needs of the people you support.
• Plan parties, games, crafts, outings, and activities based on interests.
• Drive people to and from community activities and appointments.
• Help people build meaningful relationships and become part of their support system at home.
• Support daily living needs, independence skills, and personal care.
