Job summary

Thriving Together Support Services in Greenfield, IN is seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional (Caregiver) to provide personalized care to individuals with disabilities. You will assist with daily living, personal care, and community activities, while documenting progress and adhering to care plans.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, background checks, and flexibility for evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Background check and drug screening required.
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

Provide direct care and daily living support to individuals with IDD.
Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, bathing, and other ADLs.
Support individuals in community integration, social activities, and recreational outings.
Administer medications and document care per care plans.
Implement ISPs and behavioral support strategies.
Communicate with supervisors, family members, and healthcare professionals regarding client progress.
Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive living environment for all clients.
