Chimes is hiring a Direct Support Professional for Far Hills, NJ. This full-time role (Sun-Wed 8a-8p) pays $20.25/hour and involves empowering individuals with intellectual and behavioral challenges to live with dignity and independence. You will provide hands-on care, assist with daily living activities, document progress, and help residents engage with the community.

Requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to lift 50+ lbs, and a valid U.S. driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience in disability services preferred, but training is provided.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50+ lbs.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with acceptable driving history.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support with kindness and respect.
• Assist with personal care including dressing, toileting, hygiene, feeding, bathing.
• Follow individualized care plans and document progress.
• Administer medications per policy.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment.
• Use approved behavior support techniques.
• Encourage community engagement and participation.
• Some roles may require travel between Residential and Day programs.
