Chimes is hiring a Direct Support Professional for Wed, Thurs & Sat 7a-7p in Dover, DE. You will empower individuals with intellectual and behavioral challenges to live with dignity and independence, while growing in a supportive, team-focused environment.

The role offers $18/hour, paid training, and a clear path for growth through a mission-driven nonprofit that values dignity, respect, and compassion. You'll work closely with residents and care teams to promote community engagement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in disability services preferred.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50+ lbs.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with clean record or minimal points.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support with kindness and respect.
• Assist with personal care including dressing, toileting, hygiene, feeding, bathing and other daily living skills.
• Follow individualized care plans and document progress.
• Administer medications in accordance with policy.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment.
• Use approved behavior support techniques.
• Encourage community engagement and participation.
• Some DSP roles may require travel between Residential and Day programs.
