Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid, non-provisional driver’s license required.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Willingness to attend a two-week paid orientation hybrid/in person.
• Strong judgment and calm decision making under pressure.
• Empathy, reliability and teamwork focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Direct Support Professionals may work in residential group homes or vocational day programs.
• Help ensure the safety, health, and well-being of individuals in our care.
• Coach and assist individuals with daily living skills such as food preparation, cooking, cleaning and shopping.
• Support planning, implementation and documentation of programs addressing social, emotional, physical and personal needs.
• Plan and participate in community-based employment and outings to promote independence.
• Build positive relationships with families to support the individual's thriving.
