Job summary

3MS Services LLC in Charlotte, NC is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide residential support for individuals with I/DD and mental health needs. You will assist with daily living activities, promote independence, and help maintain a safe home environment while completing assigned shift duties.

As a Group Home DSP, you will deliver direct care, monitor well-being, and collaborate with supervisors and the team to ensure consistent care and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with individuals with I/DD or mental health needs preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass background screenings and agency training.
• Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid and medication administration certifications.
• Strong communication, dependability, and organizational skills.
• Ability to assist with personal care and household tasks.

Responsibilities

• Direct care: assist members with personal hygiene, grooming, meals and daily living activities.
• Medication administration following agency procedures when trained and authorized.
• Member safety: supervise and maintain a safe residential environment.
• Household duties: complete assigned shift tasks including cleaning, laundry, and meal prep.
• Behavioral support: implement individualized support plans and de-escalation techniques.
• Community engagement: assist with appointments, activities, and community participation.
• Documentation: complete daily service notes, medication records, and shift reports.
• Team collaboration: communicate with supervisors and teammates to ensure continuity of care.
