Job summary

Delta-T Group is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide support and instruction to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a Staten Island group home. The role offers competitive hourly pay and flexible shifts.

Responsibilities include promoting growth, assisting with daily activities, medication support as needed, and transportation to appointments. A high school diploma and ability to pass required clearances are required; CPR/First Aid and related credentials

Qualifications

• Promote intellectual, emotional, and social growth.
• Ensure activities foster growth to each individual's highest level.
• Care and services delivered in a climate of normalization, care and concern.
• Assist Consumers with daily nutrition and their medications (as needed)
• Transport Consumers to appointments (as needed)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and supervision to individuals in a group home.
• Promote growth and independence through daily activities.
• Assist with meals, medications as needed, and transportation to appointments.
• Maintain safety and documentation as required.
