Job summary

RCM Healthcare Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide hands-on care in group home and day habilitation settings on Staten Island, NY. The role focuses on daily living support, promoting independence, and a safe, respectful environment.

Shifts include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd with a 40-hour work week. Candidates must have CPR/BLS certification; AMAP is highly preferred; a High School diploma is preferred. Medical benefits and a 401(k) plan are available.

Qualifications

• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• AMAP certification highly preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal hygiene, dressing, and meals.
• Support participation in community outings, therapy, and habilitation programs.
• Administer medications following AMAP protocol.
• Maintain a safe, clean living environment.
• Document daily activities and incidents; participate in team meetings.
• Provide coverage across program areas and stay on-site until relief staff arrives.
