Associated Staffing Inc. is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Hastings, NE. The role focuses on helping individuals with disabilities develop life skills, independence, and community engagement, with extensive training and certifications provided.

The schedule is typically Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, full-time, 40 hours weekly, with potential overtime for special events and transportation needs. Benefits include health/dental/vision, 401(k), PTO, and more.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient and dependable with strong communication skills.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with individuals with disabilities or in related fields preferred.
• Must be able to provide physical assistance up to 50 pounds when needed.
• Valid Nebraska driver’s license and ability to meet insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support to individuals with disabilities in vocational, community and home settings.
• Help individuals develop skills, build confidence and achieve personal goals.
• Encourage independence, inclusion and participation in community activities.
• Assist with daily activities, mobility and personal care as needed.
• Provide transportation to appointments and activities.
• Maintain a safe, positive and supportive environment.
• Document progress and maintain records using an electronic case management system.
• Work with team to provide individualized, person-centered support.
