Job summary

Hands of Heartland Inc. in Fremont, NE is hiring Direct Support Professionals for multiple openings. Positions are part-time with potential to become full-time, offering day and evening shifts. You will assist individuals with daily living, support independence, and promote community inclusion while transporting clients as needed.

Starting pay is $16 per hour, with a range of $16–$17 per hour; CNA license or experience may earn more. Training is provided, no prior experience required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and car insurance.
• Experience not required– we will train you!

Responsibilities

• Directly work with people with developmental disabilities assisting and supporting them with day-to-day living activities.
• Assist individuals with ADLs such as hygiene, dressing, mobility and meal preparation.
• Support individuals in developing and maintaining skills and independence.
• Follow person-centered support plans and document progress as required.
• Monitor health and well-being and ensure safety and dignity at all times.
• Encourage social interaction and community inclusion.
• Transport individuals in a motor vehicle.
