Job summary
Stepping Out in Hastings, MN is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist residents with Prader-Willi Syndrome in 4-person homes. Part-time weekend and weekday shifts are available, including 7am-1pm and 7am-7pm schedules with a weekend differential.
DSPs provide personal care, meal prep, activity support, and medication assistance. Benefits start after 60 days, including health, dental, vision, Life/LTD, and a 401k after 90 days. Must schedule 30+ hours weekly.
Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older.
- Willingness to perform personal care tasks (dressing, bathing/showering, toileting).
- Willingness to participate in activities such as running, hiking, outdoor games, gym workouts, soccer, kickball, etc.
Responsibilities
- Provide care giver services to residents, including personal care when needed.
- Teach and maintain independent living skills.
- Prepare meals and assist with daily activities.
- Support residents with hobbies, fitness, and social activities.
- Participate with residents in run club activities.
- Administer medications as needed.
