The Vocational Training Center in Fargo, ND is seeking full-time Direct Support Professionals to help adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in vocational and social settings. The role is day shift with no weekends and paid training, offering a robust benefits package.

Responsibilities include guiding individuals, supervising teams, assisting with personal care, and accompanying participants to activities, with possible evening/weekend hours based on program needs.

Formación

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Current driver's license.
• Preferred: previous experience with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

• Assisting individuals with personal care responsibilities and administering medications based on individual needs.
• Supervising crews on and off-site performing vocational services.
• Maintaining flexibility and composure in a changing work environment.
• Complete Certificate with ND Direct Care Careers.

Job Type: Full-time (40 hours)

Pay: Starting at $17.12 (DOE)

Schedule: Hours available from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday - evening and weekend hours may also be available depending on program needs

The Vocational Training Center (VTC) of Fargo, ND is now searching for candidates with a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences to join our team as full-time Direct Support Professionals (DSP).

Responsibilities of this position will include:

• Providing guidance to and actively engaging with adults who have intellectual/developmental disabilities in a variety of vocational and social settings
• Accompanying individuals to off-site activities
• Assisting individuals with personal care responsibilities and administering medications based on individual needs
• Supervising crews on and off-site performing a number of different vocational services
• Maintaining flexibility and composure in an ever-changing work environment
• Complete Certificate with ND Direct Care Careers

Other duties not listed above may be assigned.

Required:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Current driver's license

Preferred:

• Previous experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
