The Direct Support Professional (DSP) position with Colonial Group is to assist adults in Taylor Made Living with health and personal care, therapies, and recreational activities. You will help implement the ISP, PBS plan, and individual plans, supporting independence and well-being.

This role offers a flexible shift pattern: two positions on weekends, with up to 15 weekly hours. The environment emphasizes care, teamwork, and community involvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• DD modules completed or ability to complete.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Reliable transportation.
• One year experience in developmental disabilities (preferred).

Responsabilités

• Perform supervised tasks related to health and personal cares, therapies, and recreational activities.
• Contribute to ISP, PBS plan, and individual specific plans.
• Support adults in Taylor Made Living with activities of daily living.

Shift: Can work either of 2 different positions: Position 1: Every other weekend Saturday and Sunday 2pm-10pm. Position 2: Every other Saturday and Sunday 8am-3pm

Job Schedule: Part- Time

Weekly Hours: Up to 15

JOB SUMMARY:

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) position is to perform supervised tasks related to delivery of health and personal cares, therapeutic, behavioral, recreational, and leisure activities for the adults in Taylor Made Living (TML), contributing to the overall Individual Service Plan (ISP), positive behavior support (PBS) plan, and individual specific plans.

QUALIFICATIONS (minimum requirements)

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• DD modules completed or ability to complete
• Valid Driver’s License
• Reliable transportation

Preferred Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to learn and perform personal care, education and therapeutic programs and can learn and comprehend medical terminology
• One year’s experience working in the developmental disabilities field

Supervision of others/decision making aptitude (if applicable): This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
