Job summary

VTC in Fargo, ND seeks a Direct Support Professional for the Day Program. This full-time position offers a day shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with potential evening/weekend hours based on program needs. Responsibilities include supporting adults with IDD in vocational/social settings, assisting with personal care, and supervising on/off-site activities.

Starting pay is $17.12/hour DOE. Paid training and excellent benefits are included. Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Current driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Providing guidance to and actively engaging with adults who have intellectual/developmental disabilities in a variety of vocational and social settings.
• Accompanying individuals to off-site activities.
• Assisting individuals with personal care responsibilities and administering medications based on individual needs.
• Supervising crews on and off-site performing a number of different vocational services.
• Maintaining flexibility and composure in an ever-changing work environment.
• Completing the competency-based modules as dictated by the North Dakota Department of Human Service, Developmental Disabilities Division.

The Vocational Training Center (VTC) of Fargo, ND is now searching for candidates with a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences to join our team as full-time Direct Support Professionals (DSP).

Responsibilities

• Providing guidance to and actively engaging with adults who have intellectual/developmental disabilities in a variety of vocational and social settings
• Accompanying individuals to off‑site activities
• Assisting individuals with personal care responsibilities and administering medications based on individual needs
• Supervising crews on and off‑site performing a number of different vocational services
• Maintaining flexibility and composure in an ever‑changing work environment
• Completing the competency‑based modules as dictated by the North Dakota Department of Human Service, Developmental Disabilities Division
