Job summary

The Vocational Training Center (VTC) of Fargo, ND is seeking a full-time Direct Support Professional (DSP) for the Day Program. The role supports adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in vocational and social settings, with a daytime schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Responsibilities include guiding participants, supervising on- and off-site teams, and assisting with personal care and medications as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Current driver's license.
• Preferred: previous experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

• Accompanying individuals to off-site activities.
• Assisting individuals with personal care responsibilities and administering medications based on individual needs.
• Supervising crews on and off-site performing a number of different vocational services.
• Maintaining flexibility and composure in an ever-changing work environment.
• Completing the competency-based modules as dictated by the North Dakota Department of Human Service, Developmental Disabilities Division.

Schedule: Hours available from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday - evening and weekend hours may also be available depending on program needs
