Job summary

VTC in Fargo, ND is seeking a Direct Support Professional - Residential to provide compassionate care to adults with disabilities in home and community settings. This part-time role offers flexible shifts and paid training.

Starting pay is $19.12 per hour DOE. Mon-Fri: 6:30am – 9:00am, with additional shifts available; must be 18+, have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. EEO, including disability/vets.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Reliable Transportation.

Responsibilities

• Accompanying individuals to community and social events
• Assisting individuals with personal care responsibilities, administering medications and providing transportation based on individual needs
• Supervising, teaching independent skills, and providing guidance to adults with disabilities and mental illness in a variety of home, community, and social settings
• Documenting individual information as required by the Person-Centered Service Plan
• Maintaining flexibility and composure while working alone or in a team environment
• Assisting/Teaching individuals daily living skills such as household chores, laundry, cleaning, and washing dishes, as appropriate and according to their plan
• Completing the competency-based modules as dictated by the North Dakota Department of Human Service, Developmental Disabilities Division
• Other duties not listed above may be assigned
