Job summary

Verland in Monaca, PA is seeking a Direct Support Professional (FT/2nd/3rd shift) to provide exceptional care to residents with complex needs. This is a full-time, non-exempt position offering a wage of $19.25 per hour and a $2,000 sign-on bonus.

You will support daily living activities, assist with meals, personal hygiene, transport clients, and help with community-based programs, while documenting progress and following individualized plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift and transfer without restrictions.
• Must pass background, physical, and drug screening.
• No prior experience required.

Verland is currently seeking Direct Support Professionals' to join our team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for providing Exceptional Care to the individuals that call Verland their Home.

3pm - 7am: Friday

3pm - 11pm: Saturday

3pm- 7am: Sunday

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) is responsible for individualized care and ongoing support for people in our community with complex physical, medical and intellectual challenges. This is an hourly, non-exempt position.

Contributions

2 weeks paid training provided by Verland, to educate new hires on daily living skills, social engagement, personal hygiene skills, along with each individual’s support plan/ personal development goals that are essential to improve the daily lives of the individuals that we serve. Completion of training is required at the start of employment.
