Job summary

Verland is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) in Bethel Park, PA. This full-time role (40 hours) offers an hourly wage of $20.00 and a $2,000 sign-on bonus. You will provide exceptional care to residents with complex needs, support daily living skills, and assist with meals, transport, and personal hygiene.

Expect employment with 30+ hours weekly, comprehensive benefits, and ongoing training. A high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation are

• Transport clients to appointments and activities in Verland vehicles
• Bathe, dress, and assist clients with personal hygiene
• Housekeeping duties as needed
• Medication Administration
• Other duties as assigned

Verland is currently seeking Direct Support Professionals' to join our team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for providing Exceptional Care to the individuals that call Verland their Home.

House Name: Villahaven House

Location: Bethel Park, PA 15236

Shifts available:

Full Time- 40 hours

3pm - 11pm Tuesday - Saturday

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) is responsible for individualized care and ongoing support for people in our community with complex physical, medical and intellectual challenges. This is an hourly, non-exempt position.

Contributions:

• Introduce and encourage skill development through active treatment activities

2 weeks paid training provided by Verland, to educate new hires on daily living skills, social engagement, personal hygiene skills, along with each individual’s support plan/ personal development goals that are essential to improve the daily lives of the individuals that we serve. Completion of training is required at the start of employment.
