Homes for Independent Living, a MyPath Company, is seeking a Direct Support Professional - Float to join our team in Appleton, WI. This full-time role covers a regional area, delivering direct care and support to individuals with diverse needs according to individualized plans.

You will help with daily living activities, health monitoring, meal prep, and community participation while following care plans and safety guidelines. Competitive wages, benefits, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Personal vehicle with proof of insurance.
• Valid Wisconsin Driver's license for the past 3 years.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts.
• Successful completion of a caregiver background check, TB test and Health Screen.

Responsibilities

• Work in a variety of programs within a regional area.
• Interact with clients assisting with day to day tasks.
• Engage in fun activities with clients.
• Health monitoring and medication administration.
• Meal preparation in accordance to dietary guidelines.
• Light housekeeping.
• Assist with personal cares as needed.
• Redirect client behaviors.
