Job summary

Dungarvin is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to empower individuals with disabilities to live more independently. You will provide direct support, positive direction, instruction, and assistance to clients with diverse needs while promoting dignity and respect.

The role includes helping with daily living activities, maintaining safety, and documenting care and progress. We offer a mission-driven team environment with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to transport people served; some roles require a personal vehicle and insurance.
• Dependable, compassionate, adaptable, and team-oriented.
• Basic communication, computer, and documentation skills.
• Ability to pass required background clearance.

• Support safety, dignity, independence, and personal growth.
• Assist with daily living, mobility, hygiene, housekeeping, and laundry.
• Provide encouragement and complete required documentation.

A Direct Support Professional (DSP) caregiver provides direct support, positive direction, instruction, and assistance to individuals with mental, intellectual & developmental, and physical disabilities. The ultimate goal is to empower individuals with disabilities to live as independently and comfortably as possible while maintaining their dignity and respect.
