Job summary

Help at Home in Georgia is hiring a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with daily living activities in a respectful, supportive environment. You will promote independence, provide prompts for meals, transportation, and personal care, and document progress on goals during each shift.

No prior experience is required as training is provided. A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record are needed to support community-based visits and flexible

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• 18 years or older required.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred; literacy testing may be required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Reliable transportation and current auto liability insurance.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, confidential, and respectful care at all times.
• Provide prompts to support daily living and promote independence.
• Accurately document progress toward individual goals and maintain logs.
• Collaborate with the DDP and local office staff to ensure quality care.
