Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals and Personal Care Assistants in the Berwyn, PA area. You will assist adults with daily living activities, health management, and documentation, while working with a committed team.

We offer training in crisis prevention and first aid, flexible schedules, and opportunities for ASCEND tuition and loan repayment assistance. Minimum 21 years old with HS diploma and valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (foreign diplomas evaluated).
• At least one year of human services experience preferred.
• Must be 21+ with valid driver’s license.
• Strong written and verbal communication, empathetic and team‑oriented.
• Knowledge of behavior management theories and positive reinforcement.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities, health and hygiene management.
• Provide documentation via shift, incident, and progress reports.
• Support recreation, cooking, cleaning and community integration.
• Maintain safety and apply crisis prevention techniques when needed.
