Job summary

IMPACT is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DD/ID) for full-time, 35 hours weekly in Middletown, CT. The role focuses on promoting inclusion, health, and development for individuals we serve, following agency plans and Positive Behavior Support measures.

The DSP will implement ISP goals, work with a team, and uphold IMPACT's mission and principles while ensuring the highest quality care and safety standards.

Qualifications

• CT Driver's License required.
• Reliable vehicle with CT registration and insurance.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or obtainable).
• PMT certification or ability to obtain.
• DDS Medication Administration Certification required or obtainable.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Follow agency policies and participate in related goals and plans to promote inclusion and growth for individuals supported.
• Assist with health, well-being and development; collaborate with staff to provide quality care.
• Support Positive Behavior Support Plans and ISP goals; align with IMPACT mission and guiding principles.
