Opportunity Partners in the Twin Cities area is seeking a Direct Support Professional for In-Home Services to help people with disabilities live independently in their own homes and participate in their communities. Work full time or part time with Weekday, evening, and weekend shifts available.

Qualifications

• A desire to make a difference in the lives of people with disabilities.
• Work independently with a flexible schedule.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license to drive to people's homes.

Responsibilities

• Promote hobbies and recreational activities
• Assist with meal planning, grocery/personal shopping, & cooking
• Schedule and attend medical appointments
• Participate in team meetings & writing care plans
• Support & develop independent living skills
• Provide education & opportunities to problem solve with regards to safety skills, social interactions, and self-advocacy
