Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD. The role includes ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support, helping clients live independently.

Training is provided and a positive, growth-focused team environment awaits. Starting pay ranges from $15.40–$17/hr with a $1,000 signing bonus paid in installments based on hours.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass background checks and healthcare registry checks.
• Experience with disabilities not required; paid training provided.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal prep, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and communication.
• Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills.
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
