Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD. As a DSP, you will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support while helping clients live independently.

Starting pay ranges from $16.00 to $19.00 per hour with a $1,000 signing bonus paid in installments after meeting weekly hour requirements. Flexible schedules, paid training, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass criminal, driving, and healthcare registry checks.
• Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary.
• Lifting may be required according to client needs.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal prep, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and communication.
• Encourage independence and help clients develop new skills.
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules; participate in ongoing training.
