Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD. The role includes assisting with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support to help clients live independently, with a focus on compassion and reliability.

Starting pay ranges from $15.40 to $17 per hour, plus a $1,000 signing bonus. Paid onboarding and training, plus opportunities for advancement, make this a meaningful, team-oriented position in

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass criminal background checks, driving record checks, and healthcare registry checks.
• Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary.
• Lifting may be required depending on client needs.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal prep, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and facilitate communication.
• Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills.
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
• Communicate with Abound Health team members, families, and case managers as needed.
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
