This role involves providing compassionate care and assistance to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include improving lives, assisting with daily living, and encouraging growth towards independence in activities such as socialization and community involvement. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, pass background checks, and possess First Aid and CPR certification. A flexible schedule and competitive salary of $17 or more based on experience are offered.
Qualifications
Must pass Pennsylvania Criminal Background Check and drug test.
Possess or be able to acquire certification in First Aid and CPR.
Responsibilities
Improve and respect the lives of individuals with disabilities.
Assist in the implementation of individual plans and behavioral goals.
Update individual case notes daily with feedback.
Help individuals develop social and life skills.
Assist with daily living activities including preparing meals.
Supervise during skill-building activities.
Develop a rapport and cultivate a supportive relationship.
