The DSP will implement individual plans, assist with daily living activities, and develop strong relationships with clients. Candidates should have a high school diploma and pass a background check. Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and acceptable motor vehicle record preferred.
• Must pass Pennsylvania Criminal Background Check and drug test.
• Possess or be able to acquire certification in First Aid and CPR.

Responsibilities

• Improve and respect the lives of individuals with disabilities.
• Assist in the implementation of individual plans and goals.
• Update individual case notes with performance feedback.
• Help individuals develop appropriate daily life skills.
• Assist with daily living activities.
• Provide supervision and guidance during skill-building activities.
• Develop rapport and cultivate a safe relationship with individuals.
• Ensure individuals’ rights are protected.
