Job summary

Prosper Community Care Services provides 24-hour supportive living services for individuals with IDD under Arkansas DDS CES Waiver. we seek dependable Direct Support Professionals to provide direct care and skill-building in a group residential setting, promoting independence, dignity, safety, and community integration.

DSPs support daily routines, assist with independent living skills, and ensure accurate documentation. Training and background checks are required by DDS standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Become familiar with each individual's medical needs, diagnoses, medications, strengths, and support needs.
• Implement goals and objectives outlined in the PCSP.
• Support daily routines and structured schedules.
• Assist individuals with independent living skills including budgeting, shopping, meal preparation, hygiene, laundry, and housekeeping.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized home environment.
• Accompany individuals into the community for activities.
• Collect required behavioral data when applicable.
• Assist with medication administration per DDS policy.
• Complete accurate daily progress notes and service documentation.
• Maintain open communication with supervisors and team members.
• Attend team meetings and provide updates.
• Report incidents and complete Critical Incident Reports per DDS standards.
• Protect participant rights under HCBS guidelines.
