Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD in Matthews, NC. You will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support, helping clients live independently.

Starting pay is $15.40–$17/hour with a $1,000 signing bonus. Flexible full- and part-time schedules, paid onboarding and training, weekly pay, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass criminal, driving, and healthcare registry checks

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks
• Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and facilitate communication
• Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment
• Communicate with Abound team members, families, and external parties as needed
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development
