Job summary

Abound Health in Boiling Spring Lakes, NC is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD. As a DSP, you will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support while helping clients live independently.

Starting pay is $16–$17 per hour with a $1,000 signing bonus paid in installments. Enjoy flexible schedules, paid onboarding & training, weekly pay, and opportunities for growth in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid driver’s license with current automotive insurance
• Ability to pass criminal, driving, and healthcare registry checks
• Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary
• Lifting may be required depending on client needs
• Experience with disabilities not required—paid training provided

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks
• Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and communication
• Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment
• Communicate with Abound Health team members, families and case managers as needed
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development
