Job summary

Abound Health is looking for Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD in Brick, NJ. Responsibilities include ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support to help clients live independently.

Starting pay is $23/hour (non-acuity) or $33/hour (acuity) with a $1,000 signing bonus paid in installments when averaging 20+ hours/week. We offer paid training, flexible schedules, weekly pay, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass criminal, driving, and healthcare registry checks.
• Willingness to assist with personal care needs; lifting may be required.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals.
• Assist with daily living activities, meal prep, hygiene and household tasks.
• Support community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and communication.
• Encourage independence and skills development.
• Monitor health and safety and maintain a supportive environment.
• Communicate with the Abound team, families, and case managers as needed.
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
