Job summary

Abound Health is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD in Bordentown, NJ. You will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support while helping clients live independently.

Starting pay is $23/hour (non-acuity) to $33/hour (acuity) with a $1,000 signing bonus paid in installments. We offer paid onboarding & training, flexible schedules, weekly pay, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks.
• Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary.
• Lifting may be required.
• Experience with individuals with disabilities not required; paid training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support to help individuals build independence and confidence.
• Assist with daily living activities (meal prep, hygiene, household tasks).
• Support participation in community activities, employment, and social events.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and communication.
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
• Communicate with team members, families, and case managers as needed.
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
