Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD in Florham Park, NJ. You will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support to help clients live independently.

Starting pay is $23/hour for non-acuity and $33/hour for acuity, with a $1,000 signing bonus paid in installments when averaging 20+ hours/week. Weekly pay, paid onboarding, and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support to help individuals build independence and confidence.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and facilitate communication.
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
