Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). DSPs assist with activities of daily living, community participation, and behavioral support while helping clients live independently.

Paid onboarding & training and growth opportunities are offered. The company has been operating in the I/DD space for over 20 years and values compassionate, reliable teammates.

Qualificações

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license, current automotive insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks.
• Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary.
• Lifting may be required, depending on client needs.
• Experience with individuals with disabilities not required; paid training provided.

Responsabilidades

• Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meals, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and communication.
• Encourage independence and skill development.
• Monitor health and safety in a supportive environment.
• Communicate with Abound team, families, and case managers as needed.
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
• Complete ongoing training and professional development.
• Flexible schedules (full-time and part-time).
