Qualifications

• 18+ years old
• 1+ year experience supporting someone with I/DD (professional or personal)
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable
• Able to maintain strict confidentiality
• Able to work both independently and in a team
• Open to days, evenings, weekends and overnight shifts

Responsibilities

• Provide attendant care and relief care to clients
• Transport clients to medical appointments, errands and community activities
• Assist with household tasks and home management
• Encourage and model life skills and independence
• Promote positive self-esteem and build relationships
• Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation
• Support clients in engaging with community activities
