Job summary

Almost Family is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide compassionate, person-centered care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in home and community settings. You’ll assist with Activities of Daily Living, transportation to appointments, and household tasks while promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• At least 1 year supporting someone with I/DD (professional or personal).
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
• Able to maintain strict confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide attendant care and relief care, and help clients engage in community activities.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including physical, emotional, and communication needs.
• Provide transportation for medical appointments, errands, and community outings.
