Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. You will work one-on-one with individuals in both home and community settings while following each person’s Individualized Service Plan (ISP) to promote independence and daily living success.

Qualifications

• Applicant must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Prior caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain on hire).
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal prep, and transportation.
• Encourage independence and participation aligned with each client's ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with care team.
• Build meaningful relationships with the individuals you support.
