Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey seeks Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with developmental disabilities at home and in the community. You will work one-on-one, following each ISP, promoting independence and daily living skills.

Responsibilities include personal care, meal prep, transportation, documentation, and collaboration with the care team. Relevant caregiving experience helps, but is not required; CPR/First Aid or willingness to obtain it is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Prior caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference.

Position Overview

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) with ASG Home Care, you will provide hands‑on support that promotes independence, community engagement, and daily living success. As a Direct Support Professional, you will work one‑on‑one with individuals in both home and community settings while following each person's Individualized Service Plan (ISP).
