Job summary

ASG Home Care is seeking Direct Support Professionals to support individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community settings across New Jersey. You will deliver one-on-one assistance, promote independence, and help clients achieve daily living goals in line with their ISP.

The position offers flexible schedules, local cases, and a supportive team. Prior caregiving experience is helpful but not required; CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain is required or encouraged.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client’s ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support.
