Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. You will work one-on-one, supporting daily living activities and promoting independence under each person’s ISP.

We offer flexible hours, local cases, and a supportive team. The role emphasizes compassion, reliability, and the ability to document services accurately while building meaningful relationships with clients.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
• Prior caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client’s ISP
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support
