Help at Home is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to provide one-on-one support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in home and community settings. You will help with daily living skills, independence, and community participation, while documenting progress and coordinating with the IDD team.

The role offers competitive pay of $18-$20 per hour, a $1,000 sign-on bonus for eligible new hires, flexible scheduling, paid training, health benefits, PTO, mileage

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a state-approved training program
• Passing score on required written competency test

Responsabilités

• Help individuals build daily living skills and participate in their communities
• Support individuals to work toward personal goals and greater independence
• Read, understand, and follow each Individual Support Plan
• Accurately document services, activities, and progress
• Communicate with team members to provide consistent, high-quality support
• Report updates, progress, and concerns to the IDD Program Specialist

Formation

High school diploma or equivalent

Demonstrated competency and a passing score on the required written competency test
