Job summary

Pinnacle Developmental Care is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide compassionate care and promote independence for clients in Linn, Lane, and Benton Counties. The main office is in Corvallis, with clients in residential homes and their own residences.

The DSP will assist with daily living activities, monitor health and safety, and document client changes while collaborating with the care team. Training will be provided and scheduling is flexible, including two days per week options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in a care-giving role preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to improving the lives of others.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Must have a drivers license and reliable transportation.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene and meals.
• Support clients in achieving personal goals and fostering independence.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment.
• Document and report changes in clients’ conditions or needs.
• Collaborate with team members to provide comprehensive care.
