Job summary

Essential Services LLC in Depoe Bay, Oregon is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities at home and in the community. You will support daily living activities, follow individualized plans, and help clients thrive with dignity and independence.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior experience as a DSP or in caregiving/support role.
• Valid Driver’s License and current auto insurance (minimum 100k/300k liability).
• Weekend availability required.
• Own reliable transportation for transporting clients.
• Ability to pass a DHS criminal background check.
• Smartphone with internet access for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily tasks such as hygiene, meals, and light housekeeping while encouraging independence.
• Implement goals outlined in the Individual Support Plan (ISP).
• Accompany clients on outings, appointments, or errands and transport as needed.
• Maintain safety and complete required documentation and reporting.
