Job summary

Abound Health is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Jacksonville & Swansboro, NC. The role includes assisting with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support, with a $1,000 signing bonus based on hours worked.

We offer flexible schedules (full-time and part-time), weekly pay, paid onboarding and training, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and current auto insurance.
• Ability to pass background checks.
• Paid training provided; experience with individuals with disabilities not required.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships and support clients in reaching personal goals.
• Assist with daily living activities (meals, hygiene, chores).
• Support community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and communication.
• Encourage independence and skill development.
• Monitor health and safety in a supportive environment.
